Lower Your Podcast Voice (How to)
It doesn’t matter if you’re a squeaker or a rumbler, this one little trick will take your voice down a notch. And, reduce the strain on your vocal cords.
In my last podcast, I gave you a vocal workout that will help you develop a killer voice over time…but I know you’re not all that patient. You want results now. So, I thought I’d give you a quick tip on how the one thing you can do to sound a little more like a pro.
It’s no secret that I don’t have the the greatest pipes in the biz (that’s radio talk for a deep, resonating voice) so let’s be honest this isn’t a magic trick or I’d be using it to land every other movie trailer! In a world…
But this trick will help you to reduce the strain on your vocal cords by relaxing them and opening them up for a deeper, richer (and sexier) sounding voice. Again. I’m not talking miracles here. You’re not suddenly going to be the next James Earl Jones if you’ve currently got the voice of Alvin the Chipmunk.
When I learned this, it changed my life (and my career). It was all thanks to a stick figure drawing that showed me my mistake. So, listen up because in less than 5 minutes, you too could be sounding more like a pro and gaining adoring podcast fans.
